Six years ago, I became a professional life coach. No other self-improvement ventures have changed my life as much as learning how to be a coach and being coached. It’s hard to explain why it’s so powerful, but I’ll do my best.
Coaching is a unique relationship between coach and client that is both completely confidential and completely judgment free. (At least on the coach’s side.) The coach holds emotional space for the client to achieve their greatest dreams and live their life in the most conscious, powerful way imaginable. Coaching helps one become fully responsible for their life without the judgment or criticism that many of us hold onto when we hold ourselves accountable.
Within the coaching space, clients learn how to experience and utilize thoughts and emotions in ways that most of us have never learned how to do. Those thoughts and emotions lead to powerful action steps toward our goals and dreams. Coaching is cathartic, as well as practical. Sound too good to be true? I thought so as well when I first learned about it. Then I experienced the magic of coaching for myself, and in so doing changed almost every aspect of my life. My relationships are more authentic and powerful. My work is an unending source of joy and financial stability for my family and me. But most importantly, coaching has led me to be the happiest and most content that I have ever been in my life.
